1966 Cadillac convertible

Me and my friend bought this car together in May 2020. It had been parked at a junkyard, covered in a tarp, with trees growing around it. Two trees were just inches away from the passenger side, and two of the wheels were locked up and wouldn't turn. With four guys, an excavator, block & tackle and a 9000 lb rated winch, we dragged it out safely and got it loaded on my trailer. With some very aggressive hammer work, the two brake drums were un-stuck and she was able to roll off the trailer to my buddy's workshop! A compression test showed some pretty bad numbers, with cylinders ranging from 120 to 40. But somehow, after some tune up parts and a rebuilt carburetor, the engine came to life and sounded great! After a full brake job, she was running and driving without issue.
More work was planned, but someone came along and made an offer, and she went out the door to a new home. The new owner gave her a fresh black paint job and convertible top, and is continuing the restoration.
